We have loved Great Danes since Popeye. He was a Boston male that passed away July of 2005.  After his death my husband and I felt such a loss that we purchased Ginger, a black harlequin from a local breeder here in Arizona.   Doogie was purchased at 10 weeks old from a breeder in Florida that provides show Great Danes.  His pedigree offers the Riverwood, Donpar's,  BMW, and ABW lines.

My plan is to show Doogie with a local handler hopefully this fall.  Our breeding program for Doogie and Ginger will include 1 litter a year until Ginger is 6 and that's only if I get the support of her Vet to do so.  We take excellent care of our dogs and luckily we have the revenue to ensure good health, nutrition and care.  I don't think it takes a lot more money to care for a Dane than any other large breed dog, however what I do think is that it takes a commitment to provide excellent care.   I believe that my husband and myself are in the upper 10% of the quality of care that we provide our pets and the reason why....We love the breed and the love they give us in return.
